OWNER DON FORRETT

I grew up in the lakes area and I have been in the Masonry Concrete Industry For 26 years. I have done every kind of project, from small steps to complex structural load bearing CMU structures. Here is my story... I moved to the Upper Midwest to work as a Union Apprentice at the age 18. At 18, I started from the bottom learning from some of the best Foreman's in the Midwest. I did my apprenticeship hours and book work through local 1. I got my journeyman's license at the age of 20. At that time, I continued to work on numerous commercial projects until the age of 22. After that, I took the Foreman training course at the World of Concrete Seminar. From then on, I ran work in the cities for 2 of the largest Masonry contractors in the metro area for 4 years, Northland and Gresser. Here I traveled all over the U.S. building jails, hospitals, schools, churches, strip malls, military infrastructures, nursing homes, large retail stores and etc. from New York to Montana to Arizona to Texas. I've seen all types of commercial and residential projects.
